Please read these terms carefully before booking with Adhyaya Yoga.
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Adhyaya Yoga including in-person retreats and trainings, online live classes, 1:1 mentorship sessions, and self-paced online courses. By booking any program with us, you agree to the terms set out below.
To secure your place on a retreat or in-person training (such as our India Retreat, 300-Hour Multistyle Training, or Beyond the Asana), a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The amount of the deposit will be confirmed at the time of booking and is used to reserve your place and accommodation where applicable.
Your booking is only confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from Adhyaya Yoga. No agreement exists between us until this confirmation has been sent.
The remaining balance for any retreat or training is due no later than 30 days before the program start date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. If the balance is not received within the agreed timeframe, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain any payments already made, in line with our cancellation policy below.
You may cancel your booking at any time by emailing us at youradhyaya@gmail.com. The cancellation takes effect on the date we receive your written notice.
If Adhyaya Yoga needs to cancel or significantly change a retreat or training — for example due to insufficient enrolment, venue availability, or circumstances beyond our control — we will notify you as soon as possible and offer one of the following: a full refund, a transfer of your booking and payments to a future date, or a credit note valid for any future Adhyaya Yoga program.
Flights and travel arrangements to and from the retreat or training location are your own responsibility. We strongly recommend arranging comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal belongings, and any activities included in the program.
You are responsible for ensuring you hold a valid passport, any required visas, and any vaccinations or health documentation needed for your destination.
By booking a retreat or training with us, you confirm that you are in good general health and able to participate in physical activities such as yoga, breathwork, and excursions. Please consult your doctor before attending if you have any health concerns, and inform your teacher of any injuries or conditions before the program begins.
Adhyaya Yoga, Ankit Chauhan, and any co-teachers or partner venues are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage incurred during a retreat or training, whether arising from travel, accommodation, activities, or excursions. You participate in all activities at your own risk.
We ask all participants to behave respectfully towards fellow guests, teachers, and venue staff. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in a warning, and in serious cases, removal from the program without refund.
Live online classes are booked as single drop-in classes, class packs, or monthly memberships. Class packs and memberships are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase. Missed classes are not refundable, but we're happy to help you find an alternative class within the same week where possible — just reach out via WhatsApp or email.
Live class schedules are subject to occasional change due to holidays, travel, or unforeseen circumstances. We will always try to give as much notice as possible and offer a suitable alternative.
Mentorship sessions are booked individually or as a package, as agreed directly with Ankit. Sessions should be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice; late cancellations or no-shows may not be eligible for rescheduling. Mentorship packages are valid for a reasonable period from the date of purchase, to be agreed at the time of booking.
Self-paced online courses (such as The Art of Vinyasa, once launched) are sold with lifetime access from the date of purchase. Due to the digital nature of these products, purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been granted, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.
By participating in any Adhyaya Yoga program, class, or retreat, you agree that photos or videos taken during the session may be used by Adhyaya Yoga for promotional purposes on our website and social media. If you would prefer not to be included, please let us know in writing before the session or program begins.
Adhyaya Yoga is not responsible for any failure to fulfil its obligations due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule, provide credit, or issue a refund where appropriate.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, where Adhyaya Yoga is based. Any disputes will first be addressed through good-faith discussion between the parties.
If you have any questions about these Terms & Conditions, please contact us at youradhyaya@gmail.com or via WhatsApp.
