Refining the Art
of Yoga Teaching

You've completed your teacher training. You're on the mat, guiding students — but something still feels uncertain. Maybe your cues aren't landing the way you want. Maybe you're second-guessing your adjustments. Maybe you know your anatomy but struggle to make it feel alive in a class.

The Teaching Edge is a 100-hour continuing education training designed specifically for certified RYT 200 and 300 teachers who are ready to move from competent to truly confident. We go deep into the four pillars that separate good teachers from great ones — asana precision, breathwork integration, functional anatomy, and the architecture of how a class actually flows.

Small group. Intimate setting. Ubud, Bali. This is where your teaching turns a corner.

Who This Is For

Built for Working Teachers

The Recently Certified

You finished your 200h training and you're teaching — but you want more depth. More precision. More confidence in the room. This training closes that gap between certification and mastery.

The Experienced Teacher

You've been teaching for years but feel your classes have become routine. You want to refresh your sequencing, sharpen your anatomy knowledge and rediscover the excitement of teaching well.

The Curious Practicioner

You’re curious, eager to broaden your horizons, and open to new perspectives. This training will satisfy your thirst for knowledge and significantly improve your skills.

What You'll Learn

Four Modules.
One Transformation.

01

Asana — Beginner to Advanced

A comprehensive study of asana from foundational postures to advanced variations. Learn to teach the full spectrum of students — safely and intelligently.

  • Foundational posture families & alignment principles
  • Advanced asana progressions & variations
  • Safe hands-on assists & verbal cueing
  • Modifications for different bodies & abilities
02

Breathwork & Vinyasa Connection

Pranayama is not separate from movement — it is the engine of it. Learn to weave breath into every aspect of your Vinyasa teaching so movement and breath become inseparable.

  • Classical pranayama techniques & their effects
  • Breath-to-movement synchronisation in Vinyasa
  • Teaching breathwork to beginners & advanced students
  • Using breath as a tool for nervous system regulation
03

Anatomy & Alignment for Vinyasa

Not anatomy as theory — anatomy as lived, practical knowledge. Understand how the body actually moves in Vinyasa so every cue you give is grounded in real biomechanics.

  • Functional anatomy of the spine, hips, shoulders & knees
  • Common injuries & how to teach around them
  • Alignment cues that actually work for diverse bodies
  • Science-based approach to flexibility & strength
04

The Teaching Architecture

The craft of building a class that flows, engages and transforms. From opening to savasana — learn the invisible structure that makes the difference between a forgettable class and an unforgettable one.

  • Class sequencing principles & peak pose methodology
  • Reading the room & adapting in real time
  • Voice, presence and command of the space
  • Building a personal teaching style

Yes. Upon completion you receive a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education (CE) certificate for 100 hours, which counts toward your RYT renewal requirements.
Since this is a teacher training rather than a general yoga retreat, a consistent personal practice is expected. You don't need to be advanced, but you should be comfortable in a Vinyasa class.
