Learn How to Teach
with a Solid Foundation.

Most 300-hour trainings deepen you mainly in the active styles of yoga, like Vinyasa and Ashtanga. This one is built differently. For two-thirds of the training, you're immersed in Vinyasa Flow, Hatha and Ashtanga — the dynamic, breath-driven side of the practice. The other third focuses on Yin — slow, still and functional.

You'll leave with both: a foundational knowledge of the active styles of yoga, and of the passive ones. You'll be able to offer your students Yang and Yin alike — and access both yourself. As in everything, balance is what makes a practice, and a teaching career, sustainable. Alongside the asana, you'll study Pranayama and meditation, philosophy, functional anatomy, and teaching methodology — each one taught through both lenses, dynamic and Yin.

Held at our school in Rishikesh, steps from the Ganga, in a group capped at 12 so we can actually teach you — not just supervise you.

Who This Is For

Built for Teachers Who Want Range.

The Certified Teacher

You hold an RYT 200 and you're ready to go further — not just more hours in the style you already know, but a genuinely new dimension to your teaching.

The One-Style Teacher

You teach yoga but have never formally studied the difference between the styles. This training closes that gap so you can hold space for all kinds of students.

The Teacher Who Wants More

You don't want to just teach a sequence — you want intention and purpose behind every class, and real depth behind your knowledge, not something superficial. This training builds both, so you leave able to teach with genuine confidence.

What You'll Learn

Six Modules.
Taught with Real Foundation & Knowledge.

01

Vinyasa Flow & Hatha Yoga

The physical foundation of the training — breath-linked movement, alignment, and the building blocks every teacher needs to lead a dynamic class with confidence.

  • Vinyasa Flow sequencing & breath-to-movement
  • Hatha Yoga fundamentals & posture families
  • Foundational alignment principles
02
2/3 Ashtanga · 1/3 Yin

Ashtanga Vinyasa & Yin Yoga

The heart of the "multistyle" structure. Two-thirds of this module is spent in the Ashtanga Vinyasa system; the other third focuses completely on Yin — long holds & stillness.

  • Ashtanga Primary & Secondary Series with traditional methods
  • Yin Yoga principles, holds & sequencing
03

Pranayama & Meditation

Breath and stillness practices taught together, as they're meant to be — classical pranayama techniques paired with different meditation techniques.

  • Classical pranayama techniques & their effects
  • Meditation methods for self-practice & teaching
04

Yoga Philosophy

The texts and ideas underneath the practice and the yogic tradition.

  • Foundational philosophical texts & concepts
  • Philosophy in practice — bringing it into the life
05
2/3 Dynamic · 1/3 Yin

Anatomy & Alignment

Functional anatomy & alignment for dynamic practice for the majority of the module, and the anatomy specific to Yin — connective tissue, joint mechanics, and meridians.

  • Functional anatomy for Vinyasa & Ashtanga
  • Alignment with hands-on approach
  • Yin-specific anatomy — fascia, joints & meridians
06
2/3 Dynamic · 1/3 Yin

Teaching Methodology

How to actually run a class — cueing, sequencing and holding the room — taught for dynamic classes, and adapted for the very different pacing and voice that Yin requires.

  • Sequencing, cueing & class architecture
  • Teaching tools like observance, adaptability & improvisation
  • Teaching Yin — pacing, voice & presence

Ganga Aarti fire ceremony in Rishikesh
01
Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan
Every evening, priests perform the ancient fire ceremony on the banks of the Ganga. Chanting, flames, flowers on the river — a short walk from the school.
Temple bell at Kunjapuri Temple, Rishikesh
02
Sunrise at Kunjapuri Temple
A Shakti temple perched at 1,676m with panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks. We rise early, drive up in the dark, and watch the sunrise together.

Steps from the
Ganga.

The school is located just a few steps from the Ganga with a dedicated yoga hall, rooftop terrace, and views across the Himalayan hills. It's in the spiritual heart of Rishikesh — not an hour's drive from it.

For yoga practicioners seeking a real Rishikesh experience, this is exactly right. Charming and authentic, not sanitised and distant. The ashrams, the chai stalls, the sound of bells from the temples across the river — all within walking distance.

FAQ

Common Questions

Yes — a current RYT 200 certification is required to enrol. This training is built as an advancement on that foundation, not a substitute for it.
We cap this training at 12 students so both teachers can give real, individual attention — especially during the hands-on Acro Yoga and Thai Massage workshops, where small numbers matter for safety and quality.
No prior experience needed for either. Both workshops start from the fundamentals and are taught with a strong focus on communication, consent and safety.
The school is located a few steps from the Ganga — comfortable and authentic, not a resort. Shared rooms are for friends or couples traveling together; private rooms are single occupancy.
You join us in Rishikesh from Oct 27–Nov 13 — same teachers, same schedule, same hands-on training as everyone in the room. Once that's done, you get 6 months of online access — a dedicated Yin Yoga course plus continued practice across the curriculum, with weekly live Yin & Asana classes and a monthly live Q&A with Ankit & Hannah along the way. Certification is issued once you've passed a written exam and submitted two teaching-practice videos (one leading Vinyasa, one leading Yin) within your 6-month access window.
Yin Yoga is grouped into one focused course, with a weekly live class alongside it over your 6 online months. It's the same depth of Yin instruction you'd get in person — just delivered as a complete course rather than mixed in day-to-day, which makes it easier to follow and easier for us to teach well.
Your online course, plus a weekly live Asana practice class, a weekly live Yin class, and a monthly live Q&A with Ankit & Hannah — there to keep your practice going and keep you connected to us and your cohort for the full 6 months your access is open.
Your online course library and access stay open for 6 months from when your in-person portion ends. You'll need to submit your written exam and both teaching-practice videos within that window to receive your certification — reach out if unusual circumstances mean you need more time.
Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations more than 60 days before the start date receive a full refund of the remaining balance. Cancellations within 60 days are non-refundable, but we'll do our best to find a replacement participant.
Yes — this training is registered with Yoga Alliance at the RYT 300 level. Combined with your existing RYT 200, completing it makes you eligible to apply for RYT 500 certification.
Your RYT 200 gives you the foundation to teach — how to guide a safe, well-structured class. This 300hr training builds on that foundation with depth: four full styles (Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga Vinyasa and Yin), advanced anatomy, philosophy, and refined teaching methodology, so you leave able to teach with real range and confidence, not just the basics. We've written more on this in detail on our blog.
Rishikesh is the birthplace of yoga and one of the few places where the practice, the philosophy and the culture around it are still genuinely lived, not staged. Training here — on the banks of the Ganga, surrounded by ashrams and the Himalayan foothills — gives you a depth of context you simply can't get elsewhere.
We keep our groups small so you get real, individual attention from Ankit, Hannah and other experienced teachers throughout — not a rotating cast of teachers. The multistyle structure, hands-on workshops, and genuine Rishikesh setting are all built around one goal: sending you home able to teach with confidence and depth.
